Eh, Ive been told alot about what could've went wrong with my computer, but some stuff being told I can't understand how so. So maybe I can give alittle explaination to you guys of what has happaned an maybe someone has experienced a simular situation or knows what I can do. If I can avoid getting a new computer that would be nice, but if not then I'll have to do what needs to be done.
So this is exactly what happaned. As some of you guys know my graphics card had been burned out for sometime, even though I could barly see with it while playing on JK2, it didn't stop me. Well I had went over to my buddies house and he had a Radeon 9250 PCI 256 MB graphics card sitting by him and told me to try it out. My original card was a Radeon 9800 PRO ( I believe it was 156MB but im not for certain since it doesnt say on the card itself )
Well anyway, I brought the new card home, it didnt have any wires or fan on it, but I actually got it to work perfect with JK2, I was so happy nonetheless, well I had along day ahead of me the next morning so I went to bed pretty early. So I left my computer running.
So once i woke up I notice my monitor was on, but the monitor light was dim yellow, inwhich it shouldve been green with a picture, well I restarted my computer and the tower started beeping at me, so I called up DELL and they said that my memory sticks might be bad or something, So i switch my memory sticks around and the beeping stopped but my monitor still wont read my monitor inwhich i called them a couple more times blah blah blah blah well what im experiencing now is that when my monitor is unplugged from either of the graphics cards i have here available it will read that the cable from the monitor is disconnected and such which isnt the problem but when i connect the monitors cord into the tower it doesnt read but when i connect the monitor into the grpahics it doesnt display thats its disconnect and im not suppose to be on my gmas comp and theyre coming up stairs so i have to post this as is sorry for ths confusing if anyone can help would be perfect lol bye shit xd
